1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Nodia ("Nodia", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses, stores, shares, protects and otherwise processes your personal information when you access or use Nodia, including our mobile application, related pages, content, community features and other services that link to this Policy.

Nodia is a community content and social product. Current features may include account registration and login through Apple, Google or Facebook, invitation code verification, profile creation, browsing and publishing posts, images or videos, following or connecting with other users, private messages, likes, comments, saves, shares, reports, recommended feeds, subscriptions, notifications and account settings.

If a specific feature is not available in your version of Nodia, the related data processing will not apply until that feature is enabled.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information only where it is necessary for providing, securing, improving or complying with legal obligations related to Nodia.

2.1 Account and Login Information

When you register, log in or verify your account, we may collect your third-party login identifier, invitation code, account ID, login status and authentication records.

If you choose to log in through Apple, Google, Facebook or another supported third-party service, we may receive limited information authorized by you or provided by that service, such as your third-party account identifier, display name, email address or profile image.

2.2 Profile Information

You may provide profile information such as avatar, nickname, bio, gender, interests, links, location shown on your profile, profile background or other information you choose to make visible.

2.3 Content and Community Information

When you use Nodia's community features, we may collect the content you create, upload, publish, comment on, save, like, share, report or send in private messages, including text, images, videos, audio, captions, hashtags, links, metadata, drafts, comment records, private message records, interaction records and moderation records.

Your public content, public profile information and public interactions may be visible to other users according to your settings and the product design.

2.4 Device, Log and Usage Information

To operate and secure Nodia, we may collect device model, operating system, app version, language, time zone, network type, IP address, device identifiers, crash logs, diagnostic information, access time, pages viewed, feature clicks, referral source and other usage logs.

2.5 Media, Camera and Album Permissions

If you choose to upload or publish images or videos, Nodia may request access to your camera, photo library or file storage. We only access the media you select or create through Nodia, unless your device operating system grants broader permission and you choose to allow it.

You may disable permissions through your device settings. Some publishing or upload features may not work after permission is disabled.

2.6 Notifications

If you enable push notifications, we may process device push tokens and notification preferences to send account alerts, interaction reminders, community updates and service notices. You can disable notifications in Nodia or your device settings.

2.7 Customer Support, Reports and Safety Information

When you contact us, submit feedback, report content or appeal a decision, we may collect your contact details, report category, description, screenshots, related content, user IDs, processing records and communications with us.

2.8 Payment and Subscription Information

If you purchase a subscription or other paid feature, payment may be processed through Apple Pay, Google Pay, Apple App Store, Google Play or other payment channels made available in Nodia. We may receive transaction identifiers, purchase status, subscription status, product type, payment time, renewal/cancellation status and other information necessary to provide paid services, verify purchases, prevent fraud and handle customer support. We do not receive your full payment card number from Apple Pay or Google Pay.

2.9 Information From Third Parties

Where permitted by law and your authorization, we may receive information from third-party login providers, analytics providers, security service providers, cloud hosting providers, app stores, payment providers or other partners necessary to provide Nodia. Current third-party services may include Firebase, Google Analytics, Facebook Sign In, Apple Sign In, Google Sign In, push notification services, cloud storage services, content moderation services, Google Pay and Apple Pay.

3. How We Use Information

We may use your information to:

  1. Create, verify, manage and secure your account.
  2. Provide core features, including browsing, publishing, searching, recommending, private messaging, liking, commenting, saving, sharing, reporting, subscription management and account settings.
  3. Display your profile, public content and interactions to other users.
  4. Personalize feeds, content recommendations, language, layout and user experience.
  5. Send service notices, security alerts, interaction reminders and optional marketing messages where permitted.
  6. Review reported content, prevent fraud, spam, abuse, illegal content, account misuse and security incidents.
  7. Analyze performance, fix bugs, improve product design and develop new features.
  8. Protect the rights, safety and property of users, Nodia and third parties.
  9. Comply with legal obligations, regulatory requirements, dispute resolution and enforcement of our Terms of Service.

4. Cookies and Similar Technologies

Nodia and related web pages may use cookies, SDKs, local storage, device identifiers or similar technologies to keep you logged in, remember preferences, analyze usage, secure the service and improve performance.

You may manage cookies through browser or device settings, but some functions may not work properly if cookies or identifiers are disabled.

5. Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share or disclose information in the following limited situations:

  1. With your consent or at your direction.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information for the shortest period necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

When your account is deleted or information is no longer necessary, we will delete, anonymize or otherwise handle it according to applicable law. Some information may remain for a limited period in backups, security logs, dispute records or legal compliance records.

8. Your Rights and Choices

9. Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your Nodia account through Me -> Setting -> Account security -> Delete account. After deletion, we will stop providing account-based services and delete or anonymize your personal information unless retention is required by law, security, dispute resolution or legitimate business needs.

Deleted public content may not be recoverable. Content already copied, cached, shared by others or stored by third-party services may remain outside our control.

10. Children and Minors

Nodia is not intended for minors. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction if higher, to use Nodia.

If we discover that we have collected personal information from a minor who is not permitted to use Nodia, we will delete it or take other appropriate measures as required by law.

11. Security

We use reasonable technical, administrative and organizational measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss and misuse. However, no internet service is completely secure. Please protect your account credentials and notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

12. Third-Party Services

Nodia may contain links to third-party websites, apps, social platforms or sharing tools. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. We are not responsible for third-party services that we do not control.

13. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will provide notice through Nodia, website notice, email, push notification or other reasonable means. The updated Policy becomes effective on the date stated above unless otherwise specified.
